Acquisition & Distribution | Sales Agent Representation | Content Monetization

My Background:

I began my career at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis—one of the most respected newsrooms in broadcast journalism and the inspiration for The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Recruited out of college, I quickly moved into the Special Reports unit, producing investigative documentaries and long-form journalism focused on exposing injustice and driving change.

My work often required going undercover. I posed as a pregnant teen to help expose and shut down an illegal baby-selling ring. I later lived for six weeks inside a halfway house as a mentally ill patient—documenting abuse that led to the facility owner losing his license and being permanently banned from the industry. These and other projects contributed to Peabody and DuPont-Columbia Award-winning work.

I went on to co-found Planet Pictures, producing and distributing original content for PBS, Discovery, TLC, Ovation, S4C (Wales), and UFA Nonfiction (Germany). We also built a global catalog of 3,000+ hours of programming during a period of rapid channel expansion.

In 2014, I launched Jenny Hayden Media, advising content owners on positioning, packaging, and distribution strategy—negotiating licensing deals that drove meaningful monetization in a fragmented media landscape. I also consulted for ShortsTV, focusing on content acquisition for its DirecTV platform.

Today, continue with my responsibilities at Jenny Hayden Media, but have also founded of ROI Precision, created to address a critical gap in media monetization. As revenue-share models increasingly fail niche channels and creators, I connect brands with highly engaged audiences through CTV and digital platforms—enabling micro-investments that deliver measurable, macro results.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked at the intersection of storytelling, audience, and strategy—focused on creating content and partnerships that drive both impact and ROI.
